How does it book? You can book your date here https://hireiglooescape.com/collections/packages We don't take deposits and your booking is not locked in until fully paid for.

How do I make payment? Payment can be made by PayPal, debit and credit card. 

What size are your igloos? Our igloos are 3.6m x 3.6m in Length/Width and 2.20m in height. Therefore, to complete the setup, we need an area that is 4m x 4m in Length/Width and 250cm in height, and a flat even surface. 

If it rains will we get wet in the igloo? The igloos are 100% waterproof! So even if it’s raining on the day of your booking, once inside your igloo, you will stay nice and warm and dry.

Is there heating in the Igloo? Yes, we provide a heater, however, once the igloo is zipped up, it stays nice and warm inside. We also, provide fans on hottest days.

How long is the Hire Period? Bookings are available to hire for an overnight period only (24 hours period). Any time passed the 24hr period, additional charges will apply. Delivery times will be between 8 am to 12 pm.

What about pick-up times? It will be the following day of your booking time during the day and once the 24 hours are fulfilled. Otherwise, additional charges will apply.

How does the projector work for playing a movie? We’ll provide everything you need to set up the perfect Igloo movie night! We will set up the projector and the screen for you. All you’ll need is:

  • Internet access outside to log in to the streaming platform of your choice (Netflix, Disney Plus, Youtube, Amazon Prime, etc.)
  • If you do not have a good connection to your Wifi network outside, you need a movie of your choice pre-downloaded on your personal laptop. We'll supply the HDMI cable to ensure you can connect to the projector. Note: In case your laptop is a MacBook you will need the Port adapter.
  • Access to power. We'll bring an extension cord but a PowerPoint nearby is required.

Are delivery and installation Included? Our private Igloo hire prices include delivery, installation and pack down. Corporate and public events are subject to a quote. A delivery fee will ONLY apply if the location is outside of Melbourne CBD by more than 20km. 

  • Between 20km-30km delivery fee $30
  • Moren than 30km delivery fee $50
  • Outside metro Melbourne or Regional Victoria additional fees apply.

Where can we have the Igloo? Our igloos will be hired for having them in the comfort of your backyard. If you want the igloo in a park, you would have to contact the council depending on where the park is located and ask for a permit.

Do you provide food? We don't sell food, we have partnerships with small food businesses to offer you a range of complimentary food such as cakes, grazing tables and fruit tables. 

Do you provide balloons? We don't sell balloons, we have partnerships with small businesses to offer you a range of complimentary balloons styling to add to your Igloo package.

Is a security bond required? Yes, we also ask for a refundable deposit of $100 during your hire period and for each igloo/package hired. This is required initially with your booking. Once we receive the items back in their original condition, the security bond will be refunded via the original payment method within 2 business days.

What if I need to cancel my booking?  You must give 14 full calendar days' notice prior to your event date if you wish to cancel your hire order to give other customers the opportunity to hire our Igloo Packages and to receive a full refund of your hire payment. You will forfeit your full hire payment if you do not give at least 14 full calendar days notice to cancel your order. However, we can work with you to book another date if you wish. 

Bookings cancelled within fifteen (15) days of the event date will be refunded 100% of the total booking cost.

What happens if I lose or damage something? The hirer is responsible for the equipment hired and will need to protect the equipment from theft or damage at all times. A security bond of $100 is required with every hire. If repairs or replacement is necessary, you will be required to pay fair market value to reinstate the item. Accidents can happen and we still want you to feel happy about your experience.

Are you insured? Yes, we are fully insured with public liability up to $10m

Who is liable for any damages? As per our Agreement, the hirer will be held liable for any damages caused during the hire. Please read our Terms & Conditions thoroughly to avoid any doubt.

Is this service available during COVID-19 Lockdown and is it safe? It sure is, at Igloo Escape we comply with all government standards to ensure your health and well-being. We provide a safe & clean contactless service, ensuring that every surface is disinfected after every use.

What happens with my booking if I get COVID-19? If you get COVID-19 you should notify us as soon as possible to reschedule your booking. All monies paid to date at the time of cancellation are non-refundable. Subject to Igloo Escape’s discretion all monies paid to date may be transferable to a new date subject to availability.
